Hi Claire, not sure if it worked, but felt great doing the Zita West IVF diet (book on amazon) the smoothies are great - not all the recipes are that practical for everyday but the general nutrition is good - basically mediterranean diet low carb, high protein and good fats. Lots of veggies.

Also, Ubiquinol COQ10. I was taking 300mg a day for 6 months. Get the ones in oil / gel form.

Heard people talk about DHEA too but not sure of that.

Apparently it takes 6 months to effect egg quality.

Accupunture for 2 months before next round is advisable too.

Cutting back on alcohol and caffeine also recommended.

Agreed on above. I took dhea. I was told it is 3 months for these to take effect. I also take vitamin d, cod liver oil and royal jelly. And lots of leafy greens xx

Dhea is recommend if u have low amh levels. I m on 75mg a day to improve quality of what is left. Also on folic, omega 3, vit d and cq10. Exercising and eating better. No alcohol. This weekend will be a test as I have all the girls coming round to help celebrate this journey 😂 best of luck hun xx

Hi Claire, I took DHEA and my cycles went better....obviously cant say for sure that's what did it but nothing else changed! 3x75mg daily 3 months prior to egg collection. Our first cycle, all of our embryos had died by day 3 but on my second and third cycles I got blastocysts. Sadly we didnt get a BFP and moved onto DE after that as we were self funding but I defo think its worth a shot if you are looking to try OE cycles again. Ubiquinol is another one that you can try. Best of luck xx

We've been ttc for nearly 3 years, had one round of ivf (successful but ended in early miscarriage) and we are 4 weeks from starting our 2nd round..... and it seems there is still more to learn (even when I thought I'd read everything on Dr Google a million times already!)

What a great and informative article, thanks so much for sharing!!! Xx

I took a whole host of different vitamins from doing research online. Also reduced alcohol, I don't drink caffeine so didn't have to cut it out but that's another option. Also up your protein intake and eat lots of green veg, cut down on sweet foods, eat handful of nuts in particular 5 Brazil nuts a day, I started having pommegranite juice and of course the pineapple before transfer as well as for 5 days after. I kept my feet warm during the 2ww, made temperature of showers cooler and didn't have a bath- I like them quite hot until I was about 4 months. I think some of these were old wives tales but I wanted to do everything in my control as I think Ivf takes that all away. Hope that all makes sense. Good luck x

There’s a book called “it starts with the egg” by Rebecca fett which gives lots of ideas. I would suggest not using it like a bible though, or it will stress you out x
