Early period

Hi everyone

My ivf cycle was failed due to drug error coz gave my self the trigger shot early than intended date . I was going through very stressful time I didn't realize my mistake until the time of the ultrasound where everything had to be cancelled

So two days ago my period showed up a week early so this cycle is only 23 days

Is this need to be investigated ? Did anyone had similar experience ? Would I get my cycle back on the track ?

Am worried these drugs might effect my hormones or my eggs reserve ?

Any advise would be really appreciated

I haven’t been through ivf so I can’t comment on what’s normal what’s not.

My cycles can vary - mostly 28 days but sometimes 22-30 days. I have endometriosis so I think mines because of that.

I think if you are worried a call to your clinic couldn’t do any harm- that is what they are there for- best they’ll put your mind at ease worst you’ll have investigations- I’m sure everything is fine but you’ll feel much better to hear that. . I ended writing a letter over my concerns to fertility doctor thinking he wouldn’t bother replying but he did and took my concerns seriously and thanks to that I’m having surgery tomorrow!

The drugs do really weird things to AF. I'm currently on day 45 waiting for my AF - I'm normally 26-27 days. Also on our 1st cycle my period came a week early so didn't have to do the down-regging and went straight onto stims. If you're concerned then phone the clinic - they might bring you in for a scan to check everything out. x
