I've noticed a few old posts here have been bumped recently where the original post was a bfp and sadly the lady has gone on to loose the baby and people are commenting on the bfp post congratulating them.
I saw one post yesterday doing this and another one this morning. I'm not sure how people are finding these older posts from months back then bumping them - possibly using the search function for a specific topic or maybe looking at all posts from a user.
If this had happened to me I would be heartbroken to see people congratulating me when I'd gone on to lose the baby then having to reply or even if I didn't reply still seeing that old post announcing my bfp bumping about at the top of the forum.
I'm not admin and maybe I'm speaking out of turn here but perhaps we could all be a bit thoughtful when looking at old posts and before commenting go on to that users profile and check for any more recent posts to ensure everything is still ok. Just think how heartbreaking it must be for the person on the receiving end to have to explain they lost their baby
Apologies if this upsets anyone or is not my place to say but I've noticed a few posts recently and it's really sad

Theres times iv noticed this and pmd ppl to tell them the situation, I have done this myself and realised after iv replied and quickly deleted. When your looking at a months ago post it will continue showing you months old posts or if someone has replied it will show us all, I think if the time if the post was highlighted in a different color that might help also. But ppl just need to be more aware of what their reading really
Totally agree, I've also noticed this. I've seen many people commenting when the post is 1 or 2 yrs old! I have reported these to Admin and asked for posts to be turned off for commenting after a certain amount of time but I guess they can't do that. Whatever the subject I think people should have the sense not to comment on very old posts. If people want to raise questions that people have asked before I think they should just make a new post. It must be heartbreaking for people who have lost babies 😟 xxx
Just to add one of the ones I saw yesterday was only a few days old and someone commented on it asking how the lady was getting on when just a few posts above the lady had given an update in a new post with sad news
I really think there should be an ability to mute a post so it can't be commented on. I'd not want to delete my posts but would benefit from them not being commented on! x
OMG I have been thinking that this is happening a lot recently too and it must be soul destroying to have to comment that things did not turn out as you hoped it would.
I always check the post dates but I guess it’s easy to make a mistake if you aren’t concentrating 😔.
I've noticed this too and have thought about writing a post about it so well done to you (and Jess). xx
