Hi ladies, haven’t posted for a while, hope you are all well.
My partner and I have finally recieved our Sub Fertility app at our choosen IVF clinic.
As some of you will know, i have had investigations and we know both my tubes are blocked, my ovaries are fine and i am ovulating, my partner has recently done his semen analysis which has come back normal and we have filled in our funding criterea form as they wouldn’t give us the appt before they had recieved the form. I’m trying to prepare myself as much as possible for our appt and wondering what the sub fertility appt is actually all about and what will be discussed with us during the appt. 😘😘

Hi.... not sure. Perhaps to discuss your next steps? (Presumably IVF) And possibly lots more form filling. It's not thrilling. And it's extremely repetitive. Bring your diary and a notebook to make notes of anything else you will need to do (the order things will happen/ injection training day info/ how to pay for the drugs/ get hold of the drugs/ when you get given a protocol/ how they decide the protocol/ how to get hold of them if you have any Qs or think you've made a mistake with the drugs such as forgotten one). But don't get excited. This is just admin really. You might want to ask what your chances of success are for your age, whether it's wise to transfer one or two embryos, what side effects you might experience with the drugs and whether they provide a fertility counsellor. Since the treatment is not likely to work in just one go, it is worth managing the emotional side of things. (Sorry to be blunt, but this really is the case. Over three goes, yes, the odds are with you again.) Wishing you luck! It's all possible.
