So after crying tears of joy at 9DP5DT, my spotting and cramping got worse and it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. I’m taking positive thoughts from this in that we now know that we can get pregnant but the wee bean just wasn’t progressing as it should. Absolutely heartbreaking.
The clinic said we still need to test on OTD anyway and then let them know but I’ve had really thick heavy red bleeding now for 3 days, nothing could’ve survived the flood.
We’ve still got 2 Frosties so I guess we’ll just go again. Life can be very cruel sometimes xx

Gorgeous girl cocker spaniel. We're so excited. She'll be a great companion to our little boy who definitely gets lonely being an only child.
I’m very sorry to hear this Hidden . I always used to think we’d get our BFP and that would be it... turns out there are more hurdles before it’s really viable. I hope your HCG doesn’t hang around too long so that you can start again really soon - I’ve heard of people getting a BFP the very next cycle after a CP!! Hopefully that will happen for you xx
Oh ICSIRose, I feel ur pain. That was my first BFP for 14 years. My job is high pressure/stressy so I’ve already bn off a few weeks but I’ll need to get back soon.
On a +ve note - my sis in law is currently in labour and I’ll have a new niece/nephew very soon.
It’s hard but we need believe in ourselves one day it will come. I just had 8 weeks pregnancy lose last week. It’s not easy to see no more heart beat on the screen. That’s life and we need give ourselves credit to go thru this journey and believe sun will shine again. It’s just the matter of time. Hugs!
