Hi

I think you should do whatever is on your heart. If you have the chance to take time off and you think it'll benefit you then I say go for it.

I'm not at that stage yet but when I am, I will try to take some time off if possible. But if you think you would prefer to be at work that's fine too.💕

I'll be praying for you xx

Hi Littleflower82 what kind of a job do you have? I'd say if it's something quite strenuous then consider taking some time off but if it's something more desk based/ stress free then you might consider going into work, just because I think being at home for the 2ww could drive you mad!! Always nice to take a couple of days off after ET or perhaps around OTD xx

It’s definitely personal choice. I’ve done both and haven’t achieved a pregnacy in either circumstance so I don’t know if it makes much difference. My last time I was at home during 2ww because we’d used donor eggs for first time and I was anxious to do all I could to make it work. Maybe even take a few days to start with and see how you feel then.

Wishing you loads of luck for a positive outcome xx

How much leave do you have? If you can take the time off. Do it. Stay home and best/nurture. It’s what I am going to do after my transfer. Going to take a week off to watch tellie, read, sleep and eat well...just want to give myself a good chance x

Thanks for the replies :-) I work for the civil service, sick is protected for ivf from embryo transfer for 4 weeks. If I was to take off at all I prob should take Monday Tuesday wed as I had 3 day transfer on Thurs an think implantation should happen around those days. It's not a strenuous job but no-one other than my manager knows an I feel with my family at home I can put the day in quicker. I also got the call today that none of our 2 embies made it to freeze so I'm praying so much for this wee one to b our wee miracle 🤞xx
