After a failed cycle last month I've received a letter today to say I can contact the clinic when my next period starts and book in for my frozen embryo transfer, can anyone give me any information in what's involved with the frozen transfer, with drugs etc?
Thanks x

Heya. Sorry to hear about your failed cycle. That good news for u re being able to do the FET though
. I found the FET a lot eaiser for my body. In terms of what involved it depends whether u doing a natural one where there are no drugs or a medicated cycle. I did a natural one where I had to test when I was ovulated and was no drugs so as said found a lot kinder and got bfp from this. Can’t advise in medicated as not had one but sure it not a lot diff to drugs that help you ovulate Best wishes to you!! X
I had a medicated FET as my clinic weren't very keen on me doing a natural one. On the second day of my period I took progynova to thicken the lining of my womb. I had no side effects. Then leading up to the embryo transfer I took progesterone, aspirin and folic acid. It is much easier on the body then a fresh cycle. All the best x
Hi. Again I was the same as Sanchia46 above with the drugs. I have just transferred. It is still hormones but so much gentler on the body, and the mind. Good luck xx
