Hi all, i am 26w+5 days pregnant today with low lying placenta . This is my first pregnancy. On my last scan , everything was fine (baby movement) but i am bit worried now, as i cant feel strong baby movement yet.
Is that normal?? I just feel baby bubbles sometimes .

I'm certainly no expert as never been pregnant but all I would say if your concerned contact your midwife at least she should be able to reasure you 😊. Xx
I was exactly the same and after talking to my midwife she made me feel lots better. Sometimes because of where the placenta is it can shadow the kicks and unfortunately my placenta does this lots. I'm now 36 weeks but I didn't feel proper kicks until 30 weeks really and before this she would go quiet for long periods of time and didn't have a routine or could only feel flutters. But whenever I was concerned I would always ring. Makes you feel lots better.
Thankyou . So much concerned as i have been with a bad cough for couple of weeks which makes my tummyache and couldnot felt babys movement much, just a flutters. I have got another scan a week after, hope everything will be alright. Staying positive atm
I can really relate with your concerns. I am 31 weeks pregnant with my second baby and was extremely concerned about the lack of baby movement. I did feel strange sensations from as early as 16 weeks but not really noticeable. At my 20 week scan the baby was in the breech position and was barely moving on the screen. From 20 weeks to about 27 weeks I felt very little movement-just wee flutters. They did however, get stronger from then onwards. Now I even notice a pattern of activity. If you are worried contact your midwife/fetal assessment unit. Sometimes if the placenta is anterior (in front) it acts as a cushion so you don't feel movement as strong. Also the position the baby is in may be a factor too. Lie on your left side and see if you detect more flutters. Also drink a cold drink and/or a sugary drink-this can make the baby move. Some babies in the womb are more active than others as well. Also some move when the mum to be is sleeping and unaware. Try not to worry, but if you are in any doubt just voice your concerns to your midwife. Take care.xo
