Well that’s my first IVF cycle come to an end. After an agonising wait yesterday for a call from the clinic it came back negative 😢 feeling really empty and finding it hard to get back to normality.

My only advice for those that are new to IVF (like me) is not to worry about symptoms like I did.

I wish everyone lots of luck where ever you are on your journey.

Hopefully we start cycle two in about 6 weeks.

Sorry about your BFN. I had my first cycle of icsi this month resulting in a BFN, I was absolutely devastated and found it really hard, felt like I cried a river, as each day goes on it gets a little easier, there's still a dark cloud there but it's slowly lifting.

I’m sorry to hear this.. My first ivf attempt failed a couple of weeks ago and I was devastated! Felt like my body had failed me once again.. Lost all positivity and like you, struggled to get back to normality.. But, time is a great healer and although I am still gutted it didn’t work, I’m ready to get back in the game again! Take some time for yourself, it’s understandable you will be upset so don’t fight it and hopefully soon you’ll begin to feel a little bit better and ready to take on the next round.. Thinking of you xxxx

I am hoping to have a FET in the next month. My clinic have said that they want me to have a period and then we’ll try, I should be due on in two weeks so am hoping to go straight back into it. In the mean time I’m trying to do things that make me happy like getting back into exercise as I stopped everything for 3 months! Best of wishes to you.. Hope you begin to feel better soon xxx

Best of luck to you. We didn’t have any to freeze so we need to start a fresh. I was told we can start again once my cycle comes back as well. Not sure when that will be. Thanks xx
