Update: I am now getting more dark brown discharge and this is making me feel a period is going to come.

Has anyone else had this and still had a positive outcome or could this attempt be over for me? Xx

Hiya,

My OTD was yesterday and I had a 3 tests showing very faint lines I also had 2 others showing no line and a digital test showing not pregnant. I’ve not been able to have a morning wee as such as I keep waking up during the night and can’t hold it. So the max time was 3 hours for each test.

I done another test this morning again with a very faint line showing.

I also had some slight cramping and a bit of light brown discharge yesterday and the smallest amount this morning.

I am really unsure what to think.

Has anyone else experienced this that can share the knowledge on how things went?

Xx

I think the best thing to do is test again the next morning. And I've heard a lot of people say the pink dyes are better then the blue. I never had much luck with the digital myself and I've been pregnant twice. They either underestimated how far gone I was or couldn't detect any hormone.

But sounds really positive to me. So test again tomorrow and let us know!

It sounds promising, although I imagine it’s completely messing with your head!

Does your clinic offer blood tests? If not could you go to your Gp tomorrow for one? Good luck xx

Hiya,

Unfortunately the clinic does not offer a blood test and I am unsure if my gp would do this but I will contact them tomorrow and ask if they can do this. Thanks for the advice. Xx

Not sure what kind of tests that you're using but FRER (first response early result) tests are the most sensitive. You may just have had a late implanter. You dont day how many days post transfer you are?! Some clinics ask you to test sooner than others. Brown blood isn't necessarily a bad thing as its old blood. Good luck.xx

Hiya

I have used a few different tests the digital ones say not pregnant but the clear blue early detection ones I have used some shown a really faint line yesterday and they were that faint I am not even sure if my eyes are playing tricks and making me see them there and some other early detection ones don’t show any lines.

I am just so confused with it. I feel like going out and getting drunk to not think about it but also too scared to this just in case.

I just wish I knew either way the not knowing and thinking it hasn’t worked is really hard.

Never felt so bad. And just want to know what’s happening.

Guess I will just have to ride it out and see what happens the next few days.

Thanks for you advice xx

You would be 14 days post transfer! Was it a 5 day embryo or 3? The FRER ones have a detection of around 7....clear blue is a bit higher. Best of luck!! You could always try getting 2 beta hCG done 48 hrs apart to show a rise?! Might give you peace of mind!!xx

Thank you. It was a 3 day ET. If AF doesn’t come I will do another test tomorrow morning and the one after to see if anything changes. Thanks xx

It is better to get a blood test done. That is supposed to be the most fool proof way.

Thank you.

If my gp can’t do one tomorrow can you advise how else I could get one done? Is there anywhere else that does them? I would really like to do this xx
