I am beginning to stress a little, I was due to start taking microgynon on the 16th (day 1 of period) however the period didn’t arrive. I took a test to make sure a miracle hadn’t happened but it was negative.
I’m due to go in for baseline on 6th March and worried that my unpredictable cycle is going to throw all my dates out. Does anyone know the minimum acceptable time for me to take the pill to ensure uterus lining is good to start on Menopur on the 6th?
Any advice welcome!

But try not to stress or focus on exact dates given to you as things might change and you might be on the different meds for longer periods of time or even shorter time depending on how your body reacts
I was more anxious the first time round as you don't know what to expect and excited too as you feel like your actually getting somewhere
I already took the pill December/January, and a day before my baseline I was hit with flu so we delayed treatment.
I don’t cope well with not being in control/organised so all this uncertainty is getting to me. I’m am trying to de-stress but like you say easier said than done. It’s frustrating as I feel hormonal, teary, low mood etc but no period!
I’ll call the clinic tomorrow if it doesn’t arrive, and see what they say 😊
I was the same as you in January when I was really to start my cycle. My period arrived late so I only took the pill for just over a week before I came on again (it wasn't heavy) and had my baseline scan and started menopur. My lining and everything was as it should be at that time.
Hi Polak.. Oh dear! Unfortunately, this happens so often and usually isn't a problem for the clinic. They will be able to manipulate you to suit the cycle, hence having scans and bloods done. Hope all continues to go well for you. Thinking of you. Diane
Just a quick update!! The monthly friend arrived yesterday so the clinic have decided to use my natural period to start stims. Had my baseline scan today and now starting menopur on Sunday! Things a moving forwards 😊 xx
