Hi,

First time on here seeking help and people in similar situations for support as I’m struggling today.

We’ve been ttc for 18months ms had three losses.

Currently under a consultant, had scams and blood test which all came back to be normal, had to ring her as she didn’t test for thyroid and diabetes. Which I pushed and had done today.

Unfortunately since our last loss in June we’ve not managed to fall pregnant, even tho we’ve tried every other day, like suggested by consultant, I’ve stopped ovulation test which has been extremely hard for me.

Just wanted to know what’s next for us and If someone’s been in a similar sitchuation. I was hoping to ask if I could start on clomid but I’ve been told they won’t offer that till you’ve had a die test done on ur tubes which to be honest doesn’t sound nice, and has also scared me.

Sorry for goin on, love to hear from you xx

First of so sorry you have suffered losses. I had an early pregnancy loss last July the sense loss is overwhelming 💔 I’m sorry you’ve been through it three times 💔💔💔

Secondly welcome here and it’s wonderful pilliar of support 💗

Thirdly I would recommend you are refered to a miscarriage clinic for further investigations. You are entitled as you have had 3 losses.

I would push for a hysteroscopy if you haven’t had one to look inside your uterus - scans don’t always pick up everything. If any abnormalities are found they can fix them 😊

I would also recommend a laparoscopy if you haven’t had one. Laparoscopy can detect endometriosis which scans usually fail to do. Endo is basically cells of your uterus lining disposed outside your uterus. It can cause infertility and miscarriages. But implants can be removed and fertility improves. ( I have endometriosis)

I’m sure the ladies on here can suggest blood tests for miscarriage investigations.

Good luck xoxo

Hi Thankyou for responding.

I’m currently having investigation I went straight to the doctors after the epu.

They referred me in August, didn’t get seen till the 22nd of October she’s done most bloods for clotting but missed of thyroid and diabetes so had them today, all blood test at present are normal.

I’m so scared as to what’s next is one of those you’ve suggested a die they put through your tubes?

And the other? Do they do both procedures whilst ur awake?

We’re due to go back to the consultant on weds. Sometimes u have to do ur own research and ask for the test as I feel u don’t get anywhere and the appointments are so valuable xx

Hey there. How are you doing? I hope you are doing fine. I am really sorry for your losses. Wow, that consultant. How can such people live with themselves? What is wrong with her? Doesn't she know that we are already in so much pain? I am really sorry that you had to go through such an experience sister. Some people are just cancerous. They will never contribute anything good to society. You should change your consultant and make sure they are good. Go for IVF or IUI if you are still fertile. Otherwise, go for surrogacy if you are infertile. Hope my advice helps you. Take care. God bless.

Hi Thankyou for ur reply,

We’re trying clomid after having the necessary test 😱 which has been so stressful.

First month just thought it would work, thought it was the answer to all this. Plus the side effects arnt brill. I really thought I was pregnant last month and went really down in mood. I then met up with a friend I’ve known for a long time with a lot of encouragement. We laughed so much about the situation I don’t know why it turned funny something to do with sperm. I’ve felt differently this month, feel abit like if it’s goin to happen it’ll happen, we’re doin everything we can. I’ve told myself I’m not bothered before but now I really feel uninterested. Last month was awful well the last two years have so maybe it’s just got me at the stage where I’m tired and drained from it all.

I’m at the consultant tomorrow, nhs I know they have a lot of patients with working there myself but 6 weeks we’ve waited for the appointment and now I feel like I’m not bothered about goin haha. Always come away feeling hopeful then we’re still in the same situation haha.

Thankyou for replying means at lot xxx
