Period length

Folks feel like constantly asking questions this cycle but im down regging atm with synarel have been since the 26th Jan (day 21) Clinic had told me if period not here by 5th Feb to contact them, thankfully it came on 3rd (spotting only) 4th and 5th here fully. Usually after 2 full days it is gone then, but a week later an I still have brown spotting. Is this Normal wen down regging?

Hi, I am one day ahead of you. I also am on synarel started on the 25th. Istarted bleeding on the 6th and I still am very lightly. I however do have long periods and it was like this last time. I have my scan tomorrow as well. Not ideal. I’m sure it’s totally fine. But call your nurse if your worried x

Hey course we can, I start my injections this thus. Had my scan this morning all ok at the mo. Mentioned about the bleeding and the nurse said it was normal. I need to give it a few days on injections and if it hasn’t stopped then to call her back. Im a bit worried now though as I’m heavy after my scan than before I went. Fingers crossed it will all be ok x

Yeah I rang today they said when I start injections it should stop, but told me to do a pregnancy test before I start stimming ( if only it was positive) she said I didn't need a scan as aslong as my period has came they b happy to start stimms without scan. So what stimms are u on? Il b on 300iu bemfola for 12 days? Wen is ur planned ec?

If only wouldn’t that make life easier 😊 I’m going to be taking gonal f which I had last time but this time I’m taking menopur too. So extra injections for me. Next scan is next Friday. Trying not to over think too much x

Maybe I would have posted almost same question as yours. However I'm not down regulating in that sense, I'm being prepared for FET, using estradiol and for almost 6 days after menstruation, I still have very brown mucus, I don't know if I will call it spotting or .. but its just been there amd started easing off yesterday. Went for scan today and lining was good.

So it's possible it's an effect of the medicine (down reg or FET prep). But I think you will be fine.

I think it’s normal. I’ve had spotting when down-regging with buserelin.

Do your clinic do a down regulation scan? If so, they will be able to check that your lining is thin enough before you start your stims x

Thanks ladies I didn't get this my last fresh cycle so I was worrying a bit. I don't get any scans before I start stimming but it seems like everyone else does so I might give them a ring today and see if I can get one. Is it just to see if the lining of womb is thin enough?
