Frozen sperm costs

Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has had to pay yearly to keep the sperm frozen? We’ve had a invoice today for £275! Now I know I asked about any costs in the very beginning and was told that it wasn’t happening at that point with the clinic where we were so why haven’t they mentioned it since. Do I mention this or just pay the fee?

That's the same as my clinic. We just have embryos frozen but the cost is the same for both embryo and sperm. It's a shame they didn't warn you tho. Xx

I knew about it because they had it on all the forms we had to sign beforehand so I thought I’d mention it when going through our first round of icsi, that’s when they said they weren’t charging at the time. I’m going to mention it to be honest. We’re willing to pay it no problem but we had to have it transferred to a different clinic last year also which I don’t know if that would make a difference, I didn’t know they charge for embryos to be frozen also. Totally new to me that one x
