We have unexplained infertility and have been prescribed to use Femara (Letrozole) for 3 months. I ovulate naturally, so I was thinking maybe it`s supposed to help the quality of the eggs somehow?!
Any of you lovely ladies have used this med before? Any positive result?

Hi Sherry07. Letrozole is often used when women can't tolerate Clomid to induce ovulation. However, it is sometimes used to ensure the two glands in the brain do indeed produce an egg each month, so as not to leave it just to your oestrogen on its own. Specialists often prefer it just as an enhancement, as there are less side effects. Good luck! Diane.
