Don’t worry. Both mine I had the same. Baby must be heavy. A week before they were born, the placenta moved and I had normal births. First was 8’9” @ 40 weeks and second was 9’8” @ 37 weeks. They will monitor you more regularly anyways! I had scans every 2 weeks until they were born.

Ohh such a relief. I have bn searching in google all about low lying placenta and the post made me sad . I have got another scan after a month, hopefully my placenta will move then😔

But if not don’t worry. Like I said, mine only moved 7/10 days before and even then just slightly... does not affect the baby. I was told at the time that the worse it could happen would be for me to need a cesarian ... was fine with that as long was baby was ok.

Hiya, I had a low lying placenta and baby transverse all the way through.. Never moved and had c section at 37 weeks... All fine.. Try not to worry as very common and as kattalex said most move near end of pregnancy and if not it would be c section and they look after you well... Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. Best wishes Jackie xx

It's very common and will probably move up as the uterus stretches. Be peaceful and enjoy your pregnancy 😊

9 times out of 10 it moves. If not you will need a c section. However if it continues the pregnancy is considered high risk. Any blending and you must go to hospital and no flying.

Hi hunni I too have just had my scan and was told my placenta is low x was told they will keep an eye on it but it will prob move before baby is born x try not to worry xx

I’ve been told the same at my scan today, I’ve to go back for a scan at 32 weeks to see if placenta has moved. Xxx
