Well done the first ones always the worst, you will get use to them though! Yeah sometimes your stomach can feel a bit stingy, did you pinch your skin where you injected as that can help. Lots of luck for your journey and happy new year x
Well done, no bother to you! Sometimes I used to put an ice cube on the spot of skin where I was going to inject beforehand to numb it a bit.
I only ever buserelin as a nasal spray which did leave a metallic taste in my mouth.
Good luck with your journey 🍀🍀
Hope your journey is going well - I see you posted this a couple of days ago. I'm into week 3 of the jabs, first ever round of IVF. It's been a rollercoaster but bearable! Feel free to message me if you want to chat to someone who's a little further ahead on the journey! xx
Wow yeah be free at to chat to someone who’s a little ahead of me. Did u get any of the side affects from ure injections? Do they make u put on weight? Good luck with your journey. It certainly is a rollercoaster! Xxxxx
I haven't put on weight - but I have been very tired and very weepy, plus very headachey. Try and get lots of sleep if you can, as that has really helped - it's been hard for me as my jab time is 11pm, and I'm up at 5.15am for work each day.
I've found my symptoms are WAY worse on work days, and much better at weekends/days off (when I can sleep more). I've had a few bruises on my tummy also - 3 and counting - so be aware that can happen. Mine seemed to start happening a week or so in, almost like my tummy is getting more tender.
Also, keep talking to your OH, but don't worry if you row or have any meltdowns - I certainly have! xxx
Wow 11pm is late? I’ve been told to do mine between 6pm and 8pm so that’s perfect for me as I’m up at 5 also!
Yeah my husband is very understanding and has been helping me lots! I think he will understand if I go mental at him over nothing lol!
Thank you for all ure advise. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one going through it coz sometimes it feels that way.... especially when everyone around me are having babies!!
I know what you mean! Glad your husband is supportive, my fiance is too. Re injection time, the nurse said any time after 4pm. I do an evening shift too, as well as the early morning shift, so can't do early evening sadly. 11pm was the only time I could do that wouldn't interfere with my life too much. I'm on the jabs for 6 weeks in total, so it was important I could maintain as normal a life as poss xx
Hi all, I’ve just started buserelin yesterday but I wasn’t told a specific time to take it and now I’m getting worried as I did it pre work at 6am?! How come you guys are doing it in the evening - do you know why they said that? Thanking in advance!
