Any advice welcome....

Hi ladies just wanted to pick your wealth of knowledge.

I'm aiming for a FET with the clinic in Spain, prob February, to prepare my body my clinic here has said I have 2 options 1 - down reg with an injection followed by tablets or 2 - just start the tablets.....I'm wondering from any experience which is the better option and if anyone knows the benefits of both?

I was advised option 1 gives more control dates wise to be able to book flights etc but no other real advantages.......Any thoughts???

Many thanks fingers crossed for our 4 olaf's waiting across the pond 😆

Can’t really offer any advice, but I’ve just started my down reg with tablets (now on day 4). All being well my FET should be early Feb. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck 🤞 xx

I started progynova tablets on the 2nd day of my cycle and booked my flights on the first day. Just a personal preference, I had some flexibility in when I could travel as well. I’m here in Turkey now, ET is tomorrow. Wishing us all BFP for 2018.

I had FET in September and I started progynova on the first day of my cycle, sadly that ended in a miscarriage. However during the consultation for our next FET, I suggested to do a natural FET next time and the doctor said she won't advise that. She then went on to say there are two options, just as you have mentioned, however the down reg with injection works best for those who have lining issues but can be used for any one.

So long story short the two can be used and I don't think it affects timing at all. I have never down regged so can't advise on that.

I wish you success in your next round and whatever option you go with.
