Hi all, we are just starting our egg donation journey after 2 failed IVF rounds. We are working with an amazing clinic in Greece who have suggested fresh donation over frozen. I understand their reasoning. My one concern is that under Greek law, if any children are born, they won't be able to get any information about the donor. This doesn't seem to be the case in other countries.Does anyone have any research or experience with this. I just wonder if the child of donors would prefer the option of knowing where they come from biologically?
I just want to do the right thing. Thank you in advance for your help.

I would echo this . They are a wonderful organisation. Someone else pointed out that there is a good four part series on ITV called ‘ ‘born from the same stranger ‘ I personally found it really insightful so would recommend watching that .
I’m in the same boat and same queries…clinics in Spain & Prague have told me they only work with anonymous donors too. If we go with an anonymous donor, we’ve decided to normalise the conversation and tell our baby early.
There’s such a lot to think about isn’t there. All the best with whatever you decided (I’m watching that itv series now too, thanks Islay14 !)
