I’m Day 10 into my injections and I’m waiting to bleed. My period was due two days ago, and no sign yet. How long can it take? I’m due to go bk to hospital on the 2nd jan to have my baseline scan. Xx

Waiting to bleed
Hiya mine was 3 days late, I can usually set my calendar by mine. I was still on today when I went for my baseline scan. It was pretty gross, but all fine. If you don't have it by the time of the scan they'll just put you on buserilin a little longer. Also if this happens I would call the clinic as they may want to delay your scan. Don't worry, it'll be OK xx
Morning Hun, fingers crossed it will come I feel very heavy down there. My clinic lady said, she still wants to see me even if I don’t. Can I ask... when I started of injection, it wasn’t hurting now it is! I also had a little bubble come up after on spot where I injected. Has this ever happened to you? Xx
When you say a bubble, do you mean a bubble of liquid or a skin blister? I've had some of the medicine bubble out of where I've injected before but only a very small amount. If it's a skin blister, I'm not sure - could possibly be caused by air in the needle? When I first started injecting I found it quite painful as I wasn't getting the air bubbles out properly but I seem to have mastered this now. I sometimes have a small bit of blood or bruising, I find it helps to leave the needle in a few seconds after injecting and then pull out slowly rather than just pulling it out as soon as all the meds have gone in. Also are you injecting in a different place every day? My nurse said it's anywhere on stomach or thighs.
I posted a few days ago about the same thing. My period was b/w 3-4 days late at least. It should come but seems very common to be late.
Mine has been late both times. My clinic gets you to ring on day one of your bleed rather than trusting to when your period is due, they then arrange your down-reg scan for seven days later. Don’t be surprised if it’s heavier than usual too. Basically you have to let go of any idea of your usual “cycle” once you begin ivf.
