Stressing out!

Hi,

I’m in my first ivf cycle. Had embryo transfer last Monday and had some spotting this morning (so 6 days after transfer) when I went to the toilet. Have to admit I had a good cry.... does it mean it hasn’t worked or have other people experienced similar? I’m not due to take a pregnancy test for another 8 days! X

Hey, try not to panic I know a lot easier said than done. Spotting can be a sign of implantation so that’s a positive thing, also a lot of women on here have bled and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy. Keep positive especially until OTD x

Good luck with you 2ww - yes, spotting can be a sign of implantation - so potentially very positive news.

Sadly, I was unsuccessful in my first cycle and when I got period-like pains 2 days before my testing, I knew I was going to get period and get BFN.

Good luck!
