I've been told to try a series things. Aspirin, acupuncture.. how often would I need acupuncture? Does it have to happen a certain time in the cycle? Has anyone had good results? ..
Pretty sure our doctor just doesn't know what else to suggest... which is disheartening. But hoping we find a way.x

Find an acupuncturist in your area. Make sure they have the correct licence and so on (Google this as I can't remember what exactly this is).
I had an initial consultation and then as she got to know me and my cycle we'd plan sessions around that. So it's advised that you do one before and after the transfer - and a good acupuncturist will know what pressure points are suitable at certain times of your cycle. I remember after my transfer my acupuncturist targeted certain points but avoided others.
I found acupuncture to be really relaxing. It helped that my acupuncturist was lovely and we go to know each other.
Thank you. I assume transfer is like after ovulation? I'm not eligible for IVF I keep having early on miscarriages. Probably implantation issues. But not too many ideas on fixes. I will look it up. Thanks a lot! X
Yes acupuncture is great whether it's for IVF or just to regulate your cycles. Give it a go (you'll probably be recommend 2 sessions over the monthly cycle). It helps produce healthy blood and I'm sure that would help with the lining and therefore implantation.
If you keep having early miscarriages, have you been recurred to recurrent miscarriage clinic? And have they done karotyping? As early miscarriages can be a symptom of a chromosome translocation which is what my husband has.
I had acupuncture for my 4th cycle of ICSI. The Acupuncturist had personal experience of IVF herself which helped a lot as it gave me a chance to talk things over with someone who understood what I was going through. I went to her once a week in the months leading up to the cycle. Then during the treatment itself she tailored the appointments to coincide with and meet the needs of the various stages of the treatment cycle.
Whilst my ICSI cycle did not have a positive outcome, I found the acupuncture very helpful. It gave me something positive to focus on and it helped alleviate some of the stress.
If you decide to go for acupuncture you can claim half back through various health insurance companies . I was having mine each week at £50 a go , my health insurance was £10 a month and it allowed me to claim 50% back off my acupuncture so was worth it for me to join. I didn’t fall pregnant on my 3 cycles but I would still do acupuncture again if I had another try x
