Silly question.... But any advice gratefully received

Hi all, due to start Clomid on day 2 of my cycle. I've been spotting for a few days then started to bled heavier this afternoon. Is today day one of my cycle or is day one when you have a full day of bleeding? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've got myself in a pickle over it. I tried phoning my GP but they said I need to speak to the clinic and the clinic is now closed. I couldn't phone any earlier as at work all day and there is no where to make a private phone call so had to wait for everyone to leave before I could ring. Thanks everyone xxx

I was told day one counts when your bleeding heavy and need to use a towel. Not sure if that answers your question or not? But if that’s happened this afternoon then by my clinics advice today would be day 1 xx

Hi, Im no expert but i had to advise my clinic of my day 1 and they advised not to count spotting but first day when there is a flow. I explained my periods are so light i dont really get a flow as such and they said when blood comes as opposed to spotting. Sorry if TMI but the blood appeared at 2am and they counted my day 1 as that day even though if it had appeared 2 hours earlier day 1 would have been the previous day. Given that i would agree today is your day 1! Xx
