Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding fertility after Decapeptyl injections.
I was diagnosed with with mild Endometriosis, blocked Fallopian tubes and high natural killer cells about 3-4 years ago.
About 2 years ago I went through two rounds of IVF with an ex partner.
The first round I had a miscarriage and the second round I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy.
The partner back then left as he couldn't live with my infertility.
I am now married to a lovely and supportive husband.
A few weeks ago I went to see my Gynecologist and she said that at 32 years of age I am still young and that miracles do happen.
I must say I was ready for a hysterectomy as not only am I constantly in severe pain but several doctors told me that there was no way that I was ever going to get pregnant naturally, that I had a low egg count and that I would need donor egg IVF.
My Gynecologist put me on 6 months of Decapeptyl injections to put me into a menopausal state and then she said we could go for another laparoscopy to see what it looks like in there now.
I would like to see if they could try and fix my fallopian tubes and of course if the Decapeptyl injections shrink my Endometriosis.
On the other hand due to the high natural killer cells I need to be on prednisolone tablets as well.
Was anyone in a similar situation and did anyone out there did eventually get pregnant and gave birth to a baby?
Thanks everyone for reading xx
