Has anyone had this? Right about the time I got my BFP 11 days ago I started getting bad pains in the muscles in the tops of my arms. It then spread to my knees and now just under the right hip in my butt area.
It’s worse when I lie down and is total agony at night.
I have no other symptoms typical of flu or anything.
It’s total agony and is stopping me from sleeping. I have no strength in my arms because of the muscle pain and it hurts to walk because of the knee pains.
My clinic told me it’s not connected to the pregnancy but it’s one heck of a coincidence this started at exactly the same time.
Any advice welcome x

Hi CharR. This can sometimes be known as deferred pain. Sometimes because of an active ovarian cyst. Doubt it is ectopic as that would have checked out. Sometimes you can get nasty pains when your womb starts to move upwards, but I would say its too early for that yet. Could even be left over from positioning during embryo transfer. I've run out of options! Obviously you will need to check again with the doc if it persists. Safe to take some paracetamol, unless something else has been prescribed. No anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope it soon settles. Diane
