I just wondered what everyones thoughts were about having a spray tan and dying your hair during treatment and the 2ww. Ive got a wedding on the 2nd of December December and dont want to look like a snowman lol.
I know things are safer these days but you never know etc xx

I was in exactly the same situation and had a wedding 4 days before I was due to test. I didn't do my hair or tan as I was a bit worried about it and thought better safe than sorry but to be honest I wish I had! With the little bit of weight I'd put on through lack of exercise during treatment and generally feeling a bit down in the tww I felt absolutely awful and barely made it through the day! I felt surrounded by people looking their best when I felt my worst. These things may seem trivial to a lot of people and I'm really not someone who spends ages on my appearance but having read up on it and these things being deemed ok during pregnancy, i'd say go for it and make yourself feel nice for the day. That is just my opinion though x
Unfortunately not recommended. Chemicals that are in contact with skin maybe harmful to the process. No way of determining the impact. I would suggest to go without as Franco81. Small sacrifice for a big reward! 😉
With regards to hair my hairdresser won’t touch mine during treatment, one the mad hormones we’ve been on can change the way your hair reacts, and two it could have a negative effect, the same as a spray tan, the fumes are not supposed to be good. Personally I wouldn’t risk it just for someone else’s wedding! Good luck with everything! Xx
Thanks all i have decided to go to the wedding white and grey lol. Its probably not worth it. The actual wedding is roughly around the time of testing. Xx
