I had this issue when the first day of my period started on the bank holiday weekend so the clinc were not open on the Monday as well. I asked this question and they said as long as it is day 3 or 4 at latest then I would be fine. With a normal weekend you would be fine. xx

This happened to me too and I am on the short protocol. I left a message and the next working day they called back with the date on which to start norethisterone (the pill) and told me when to stop it. Then a few days later I got the schedule for scans and injections in the mail. They timed it so that when I stopped the pill, my period would come a few days later and would be around the time I went in for my baseline scan. Hope that makes sense and answers your question.

ah thank you, we haven;t had our teach appointment yet. They just said to phone on day 1 x

Did they give you a script to get the birth control? They usually put people on it just to get our cycles timed for the clinics benefit. I called on day 1 and then didn't start injections/scans until the next cycle.

Every clinic does things different. I know the waiting is hard and you just want to know what to expect. Let me tell you, It doesn't get any easier!! Lol so just take it in stride. You'll be injecting yourself and in the thick of it soon... I can barely believe I'm half way through stimms already.
