It's my birthday - celebrating with injections, diarrhoea and headaches!

Oh the birthday joys of ivf.

Damian is taking me out to dinner to celebrate where the lovely food will hopefully make up for the lack of booze and I'll treat myself to a shot of stimms in the toilet between courses - got to laugh at this crazy process! I'm 37 and childless - but at least this year I'm celebrating with hope that I might actually be pregnant one day soon rather than just trying and trying and trying and getting nowhere. Friday 13th has always been lucky for me. This is my first round and I'm on day 4 of injections and taking h metformin tablets 3x a day. Good luck to anyone else reading this wherever you are on your journey! X

Thank you so much - I've wanted a baby for so long that I can't even imagine it actually happening?! I'm assessing babies' development all morning today then assessing a child under a child protection plan this afternoon, can't wait for 5pm! X

Happy birthday !!! Brilliant we can laugh about this !! Been in a few situations myself trying to do a pessarie practically upside down in a tiny toilet trying to walk back to sit down ! Without anyone noticing and keeping it in !!! It's a art ! 😂😂😂 love your positivity! Wish you the best ! Xxxxxx

You're having headaches too? Yes I've been taking paracetamol too. Next scans are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. How about you? How are you feeling? What drugs are you on? Xxx

I’ve been having dull headaches since my prostap injection. I have one scan on weds and anymore haven’t been told yet... feeling rather in the dark which is making me more anxious. I’m on bemfola injections xx
