I'm currently just into my second week of the dreaded 2WW and to be honest I'm finding it really tough!!
Also I've noticed over the last few days (so sorry tmi) that I'm not able to get the cycogest (progesterone) pessary as far in as I could before. It's a real noticeable difference.
I've just been consulting Dr Google which I know I shouldn't! But it looks like the cervix is lower and harder around AF and higher and softer around ovulation and in pregnancy. So I'm starting to think already that it's game over for us.
Does anyone have any experience of this? With whatever outcome?
I hope all you ladies in your tww are not going quite as mad as me! Good luck to you all xxx

Do you find it difficult? I'm not sure I'd be able to do it! And I'm still able to get the pessaries in, I'm just concerned that the fact my cervix seems to be low and hard means that we're out for this cycle? X
Don’t lose hope hun!! I don’t have a problem getting the pessaries up the back, it’s really odd cause it’s only for one thing only and that’s for exit 😂😂. It’s worth asking if you can do it that way luv x
I don't think it matters how high it goes, it just needs to have contact to be absorbed, speak to your clinic but I wouldn't worry too much, I think the progesterone can also inflame so that might be why you're having issues
I’m so glad you posted about this as I’ve been wondering the same thing!
In my case it’s almost like it falls out (sorry tmi) I too took to google - why do we do it to ourselves?! And found another forum where newly pregnant mums who are still taking Cyclogest (you can take it until 12 weeks) have noticed the same thing so I wouldn’t worry! It seems completely normal for some! Xx
Ah thank you so much for your message, that's made me feel loads better. Has yours always been like that or has it changed? I did read that the position of the cervix is the most unreliable sign of anything as everyone is so different so maybe I should keep some hope!
God this tww really can drive you completely mad!! X
Don't give up hope. I used mine via the back door under clinic instructions and cried when they told me because I didn't think I could face it but after a couple of attempts you do get used to it and it's not as bad as you anticipate it will be. Good luck for the rest of your 2ww and otd xx
