When should I test?

Hello everyone, hoping you can help. I had my transfer last Tuesday so 12th November with a 5 day blasto which they said they had defrosted that morning of transfer and it had continued to grow. The clinic has given my OTD as 25th November but as it's a five day blasto was thinking about testing a bit earlier with first response. I've seen some people get BFPs after 10 days post transfer - which would be the 21st. What would you all suggest? Would ten days after give an accurate result? Thanks in advance for your help!

My clinic tell me to test 9 days past 5 day transfer so I don’t think 10 days would be too soon. If negative though they do tell you to keep on meds for a few more days and test again.

I had bfp at 10dp5dt with both of mine. The second time it was quite feint but much stronger the next day. I had no willpower to wait for 13 days. Good luck x

Thank you! Have decided I will test on day ten just to stop me from going crazy! My partner has hidden the tests from me already haha xx

I’m actually lying, it wasn’t 10 it was 8! I seriously have no patience. I suppose I shouldn’t recommend that course of action, as I just happened to be lucky. Fingers crossed you get your bfp and remember.....even when your OH hides the tests you can always buy more 🤣

Hi Infertilemyrtle. I'm a bit old fashioned, I'm afraid and would ask you to be brave and wait until the 25th as your clinic instructed. Up to you of course, but I do wish you huge luck with whatever you do decide to do. Diane
