Buserelin and 2nd down reg scan

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question... how long have people's periods been on buserelin? Mine seems to be going on forever. 😞

Also going back for a second down reg scan tomorrow and bloods. Found an irregular cyst on right ovary... which they wanted to leave me on down reg for another week. I'm hoping and praying it's gone by tomorrow... has anyone else had this experience and how has it effected them and their cycle? I do have endometriosis and have had cysts before. I'm terrified they will cancel my treatment because of it.

Hi, I'm currently on 50iu of buserelin a day and have been since 4th Sept. My AF arrived bang on time and lasted my regular length of 7 days. Not much else I can say as I am due my first d/r scan this coming Wednesday 20th. I will update as to the results after that! Sorry that I couldn't be more help than that!

I had a horrendous period on dr (also have endo). My periods were usually 2-3 days and in ivf it was 10 days and painful and heavy. I was even bleeding two days into stims. Hopefully it's just a sign you are getting rid of the lining.

Sorry I'm no help on the cyst but hopefully it doesn't stop treatment x

Hi Becky2889. Just hoping that you have managed to get something positive from your scan today. Maybe you have to continue down regulating for a while?? Hope all is soon sorted for you and you can continue without any more "blips". Thinking of you. Diane
