Well tomorrow I start my first round of down regging! Nervous and excited all at the same time and haven't got a clue what to expect. So spent the day 'google researching' and have come up with the following plan!
1) going to start eating 3-5 brazil nuts a day from tomorrow,
2) apparently a glass of red wine prior to ET helps relax you and some people seem to swear by it (although not sure if i'll do this one)
3) 1 slice of Pineapple core from day of ET for 5 days. ( hoping this also helps reduce my nk cells along with the steriods)
4) At least 1 pint of milk a day from transfer
5) 2ww off work, to spend relaxing.
And finally i've just read that some women wear orange knickers for the scans, collections, transfers etc as its meant to be a lucky colour for fertility ππ.......so guess i'll be purchasing some of those as well π Here's hoping my master plan works ππ

Lol this made me chuckle maybe I will invest in some orange knickers for my next round lol.Β
This is just my own research, of which most of it is not medically proven, but there seems to be a lot of success stories with it, may just be pure fate, so please don't take my post as gospel!! But i'm willing to give it a go for my first try! xx
Aw thank you Diane! π Gone are the days of women swinging bra's round their head.....its now all about rushing to the shops and buying the orange pants! π On another note, is it normal to be feeling slight period type pains now i've started the down regging? Its only day 2, but my period would normally be starting in 3 days. Any advice would be much appreciated! π
Hey Im due to start down regging in 14 days! I too have come up with a similar plan with the Brazil nuts and pineapple! I havent heard the one about the orange knickers....could be an addition to my list! Ha ha ha Good luck with it all!x
Haha! Yeah theres quite a lot of articles to read about both aren't there when you start researching! I'm fairly open minded as niether seem dangerous so willing to try them! Will prob try the red wine as well as with all the prodding, poking and examining 'down there' over the last 2 years i've developed a reall phobia, so if anything can help calm me on transfer day then i'll try it. It must be better to be calmer then stressed and having a panick attack! Good luck with your soon to be cycle! πX
Thanks! I think the only other things Im going to be doing is cutting out coffee/tea and alcohol...I probably would end up having more wine than Im allowed! Ha ha ha Im all booked to have an endometrial scratch and for acupuncture too. Im just throwing everything I can at this. The only thing I cant seem to master is this patience malarkey.....so hard all this waiting!!x
Yeah I stopped the alcohol as of yesterday! And came of caffeine a couple of weeks ago, the head aches were horreandous! I'm a tea monster!! But getting used to my decaf now! Also cut out fizzy diet drinks too, good old fashioned water and juice for me now! x
