New to IVF at gateshead

Hi all, I am new to IVF, and I am using Gateshead for treatment.

I have had my first appointment 2 weeks ago, which was ivf bloods for both me and my husband, I also had amh bloods. He also gave a semen sample.

Anybody else at this stage? I haven't heard anything from the clinic since and I'm yet to receive a further appointment/welcome pack.

Not sure about this but i would have expected you would have had a welcome pack with all the treatments, costs, and timelines. give them a call xx

Hey we have just completed the initial bit. It can take awhile tbh. Usually blood tests then you would have an internal examination to check ovaries and cervix etc then poss more bloods and appointment to share all results and where to go from there. Once all that done we had an information evening about the process and we are due to start ivf now once my next cycle starts. Of course am in diff part of country but can't imagine it be too different. As said once all initial bloods, examinations and analysis is done you can start on next cycle! That took about 5months for us. Now should be end of august. Scared but v excited 😊

I would just say give them a ring and ask , I can't remember how quick my appointments came but I transfered from another clinic.

They are really helpful and at least you will know where u stand x

I'm going to see if i here anything this week, if not I will give them a ring. I've had lots of bloods and tests at my local hospital, and have only been transferred here for treatment.

Hopefully shouldn't be too long 🙈🙈
