Re starting IVF cycle 😖

I had a scan today & due to under response they are cancelling the cycle. Have norethisterone tablets to take & will start again on next cycle but feeling really low. I feel like all the side effects, the injections & bruises were for nothing. Has anyone else had this happen during IVF?

That sounds painful. Why do not you try changing your clinic?

Unfortunately this is the only clinic near me & I already travel almost 30 miles to it 😕

I haven't experienced this but a friend of mine who had IVF recently did. I would make sure that if your clinic doesn't offer it you insist on meeting with a consultant to discuss why they think it didn't work and what they will do differently. That's what she did and she found it really helpful and reassuring too. Also meant she felt bit more in charge of the whole process which I think helped her mentally.

Thank you. I have spoken to my consultant on the phone & was told the next time they're going to start me on a higher dose & do more blood tests.
