Hmm mother in law just said 'when you move house you'll have to prise OH out' cos he's lived there since he was 5. He bought his parents' house. I said I'm not quite ready yet and so she said well best to wait and then you'll know whether you need a child friendly or a dog friendly house with a chuckle because I said earlier I'd like a dog. Wow! Ever so slightly annoying and insensitive! Grr!

Nothing more upsetting than an inappropriate comment. Some people just don't think. Mother in laws tend to be the worst followed by stupid work colleagues who know what we are going through but still come out with some utter shite that makes you want to slap them silly. Xx

Yes I had to wander off until I'd calmed down! Can't even moan to OH either tho I did mention it. At least we'll come out of this knowing all the things not to say, though I'd like to hope I'd not have said such things anyway. but I probably do say stupid things too all the time. Xx

Completely agree the ones that get my bloody boiling are "relax it will happen," "try not to plan it" and my favourite "don't think about it and it will happen" 😡 all completely inappropriate.

There's a colleague at work who always says to me "I think your putting to much pressure on yourself."

Some people just don't get it. Doesn't make it anyless frustrating or upsetting though x

Twice, this week alone, I've had the old "Are you sure you wouldn't adopt?" One from my best friend and one from my boss. I am all for adoption but it just isn't for us. If I had a £1 for every time I heard it we'd be able to fund another fresh cycle lol!

People don't think 😕 xx

I'm with you on this. It's so rude. I always feel like saying and how many children have you adopted? It's not a solution to a problem. Adoption is way bigger than that. x

Grr!! I've been quite lucky at work that not many know and those that do don't say anything. I'd definitely end up falling out with people if they said stupid things. Fortunately I only see the in laws a few times a year. It's nice to see them but hard work too!
