Where do you store your suprecur?

Hey lovelies

So I had my injection lesson today and wasn't as bad i thought it would be at all! I've collected all the meds and ready to go on Sunday, however was just wondering, and probably sounds daft , it's been pretty warm lately, I know you're not supposed to store the suprecur in the fridge but where do you store yours in this warm weather? Will the cupboard be ok?

Hey, glad your lesson went well. I just store mine on my bedside table I kind of put it behind the sharps box so isn't in direct sunlight x

Is there anything written on the box? I've been leaving mine in the bag I was given by clinic with all the needles and my sharps box, but trying to keep it out of direct sunlight. Not saying I'm to be trusted as an expert by any means, but the down Reg worked so it must be ok? Good luck! X

Hi Diane thank you for your response, this night sound like a silly question but would it be ok for me to do my injection about 10-15 mins before I have a shower in the morning or should I do it after?

Hi Diane, sorry to bother you again 😬 I did my injection today , I only got given 2 vials of 5.5ml suprecur and used about half already on my first injection, I don't think I will have enough to last me all week, is it normal to only give this much? Thanks xx

Hi Veekay80. Are you injecting the correct dose? Check how much of the drug you have to have in each injection, and for how long you have been prescribed it for. Do the maths and if you haven't got enough, phone the clinic in the morning, or whoever dispensed your prescription to get any extra that may be needed. It's usually prescribed for 7-10 days if you are on a long protocol. Good luck! Diane

Hi. That's good. I was sure you were, but had to ask. Clinic will soon sort you out if you run short. Hope all goes well. Thinking of you. Diane
