Suprecur advice

Hi all. We have just started our first round of ivf/ICSI - clinic hasn't decided which one we are going with yet, they said it will depend in the sperm sample given. Anyway we are on day 4 of suprecur injections. My husband is doing the injections for me as I wanted to get him involved as much as possible.

I just wanted to check where should I be keeping the vials of suprecur?

If you were on suprecur did you have any side effects? I have read- up about possible side affects but nothing as of yet other than not being able to sleep in the nights - 3rd night in a row.

I haven’t had suprecur injections. I used it as a nasal spray for down reg on my first cycle and it was kept at room temperature. Does it say on the box where the suprecur vials should be stored? If your clinic are open today I’d give them a ring to double check with them xx

I just kept my vials in the bathroom and then they were to hand when needed!!

I didn’t really have any side effects apart from feeling a bit bloated!! Why don’t you try listening to Mindfulness Ivf (an app) this really chilled me out just before going to sleep, which might help with your lack of sleeping!!

I was on it for 28 days. They are to be stored at room temp, and away from direct sunlight. I just kept them in my bedroom.

Side effects didn’t really kick in until 7ish days later and disappeared when my dose was reduced for stimming. They mainly consisted of hot flushes, and this would sometimes wake me up. It didn’t really impact my mood which is the main side effect the dr told my husband (!!) to be be mindful of. Headaches and bloating I think I kept at bay by making sure I was well hydrated.

Hi I was on the spray. I had massive bloating, horrendous migraines, hot flushes especially during the night and generally felt awful. It gradually got worse the longer I was on it but as soon as I added the injections it got better. Sorry but I wanted to answer honestly. I hope your experience isn’t as bad as mine was. xxx

I’ve been on Suprecur injections for 16 days so far, feeling horrendous at the moment. I think I can tick off every side effect, the headaches, mood and night sweats I’m struggling with the most. OH is struggling with me not being wanting him in the same room as me. I’m hoping to start feeling better when I start stims but I’m not holding my breath. Good luck!!
