How do people store their loaded Ovaleap pen?

Do people store it in the fridge when it is loaded or not? The instructions have confused me a little bit. This is my first cycle and just want to make sure I don’t mess up.

Hi Amber,

I stored everything in the fridge just so it was all in one place! Depending on your dosage you should get more than one shot out of a capsule and therefore once you’ve loaded the pen, you need to keep it in the fridge as it will have some of the liquid still left in it ready for your next shot. I did the same as VW88. It came with a pouch so I just put it in the pouch and into the fridge.

You might know this already, but just a reminder to keep the vial in the pen (until you use up all the units) once loaded whether you refrigerate it or not.

HiOnce the first dose has been administered the pen doesn't need to go back in the fridge. All unused cartridges get kept in the fridge. Once out the fridge they are good for 28 days. It's more comfortable to administer the med at room temp, therefore to get it to room temp you have to leave it out, once a cartridge has been out for more that 15/20 min it shouldn't go back in to a cold fridge. Least that was my guidelines.

*Add just noticed the booklet p8 says Ovealeap is fine to be stored out of the fridge if used within 3 months, but once out don't put it back in.
