It depends on where in the county you are moving to. Will it be within a different CCG area? For example In my county there are 7 CCGs and they all differ on their NHS funding for IVF. I know that a CCG only 5 miles down the road doesn't offer any funding where as ours offers two rounds. However I'm not sure if you have already had the funding approved and then move if it still counts. I would guess not, knowing that if a CCG decides to stop their funding for IVF whilst you are receiving treatment you can finish any current cycles but wouldn't be offered any further if that makes sense?! Hope that helps. Best to look up your CCG fertility commissioning policy which should be online and that should outline everything you need to know. Xx
This is so helpful thank u. I'm thinking moving might be to risky at the moment so decided to stay put. Really appreciate the reply

Hi Nat6. Usually tthe CCG that gives you your funding is the one "attached" to your GP, so it fyou keep the same GP, then there shouldn't be a problem. have a look at fertilityfairnessuk.co.uk to clarify it for you. God luck! Diane

If you have 2 rounds where you are and you can stay put, I would. We've had it cut to 1 round and just last week to 0!! Before our first consultation for ivf. There's big cuts at the moment! Good luck with 2nd round xx
