I had it as part of my treatment on NHS. They discussed it when I saw consultant and when I rang on first day of cycle to start IVF they asked me if I wanted to be booked in for it. Hope this helps x

Thank they never mentioned it on my first go but i will definetly be asking my second try x

I think it depends on which nhs pct you are with as I was not offered it but my consultant said it would be a way of giving it a better chance of working. but they were not allowed to do it as it was not part of my plan. I would ask them. Hope this helps. X

Not sure if this helps if you are unable to have this done via nhs can have it done privately my clinic charges £100.. If it gives you a better chance of it working I'd go for it.. Wishing all the very best with your treatment.. Jess X

No worries Hun ..

I'd talk to your clinic they will tell you if the nhs will grant you funding for it.. If they don't consultants work for the nhs and privately too.. Your consultant may be able to recommend a clinic that does the procedure that he or she works at privately :)

Good luck with everything X

Hello- yes if they say it's not in the funding you can add it additionally - my clinic charges £200. Although they did it, billed me, but because I was funded and we'd never discussed it being an additional, the scrubbed the cost! XXXX can't harm getting it done! X

One thing I will say for the future, is when you get to the right stage ask them for embryo glue ( there will be an additional charge). I had my ET yesterday and I asked them for embryo glue.

The embryologist explained it was too late, and I should've asked for it earlier. I was a little cheesed off as this hadn't been discussed / mentioned and the only way I learned of it was via GMTV!!! So when I thought to enquire it was too late...XXXXX Good luck XXXXXX
