Baths during 2ww

Hello, can anyone help clarify please? I read online that you shouldn't have a bath during the 2ww. I have done tests at 5dp5dt and 7dp5dt (today) both negative. I know its still early although im not feeling optimistic but I wouldnt want to take any risks just incase. My legs and back are aching and a soak in the bath is all I want right now, what are peoples thoughts?? Thank you x

Hey I looked into this myself. As long as bath isn't boiling like a hot tub I would go ahead and enjoy a bath hun. There is no evidence to suggest a warm bath will do anything bad. I also asked doc about this and it's fine just don't have boiling. Enjoy xx

Just looked online and some women are saying their clinic said don't so best check Hun everywhere is different but I really don't think warm is harmful x

Thank you, my clinic said dont have any hot baths but I think they meant during the implantation part, which I think would of happened by now if it was going too. I think a warm bubble bath is just what I need right now - thank you xx

Hi, my clinic said no baths at all during 2WW. I really wanted one and still do but am not going to have one until time is up. I am super strict with myself though, and would have thought it probably would be just a precaution. I wonder if it would interfere with implantation it water gets up there...?xxx There is still plenty of time for a BFP but don't want to make you feel bad xxx

I am fine- no pregnancy symptoms so a bit worried. I am told it's too early for symptoms but I repeated test today, it still says pregnant- I was relieved. But still worried about things going wrong. This is the best news I have had in a while, so maybe I am just scared... you will be fine- feel free to message me anytime xxx

Hi apparently even if implantation has occurred you still might not get a BFP just yet. Lots of ladies have thought they had no symptoms and still got a positive often late and very close to OTD. You have been on a very long journey already to get here, not long now, just hang on in there xxx

Thank you thats comfortingto know and gives me hope. Im not normally such a negative person honest ha xx

Personally I would take the bath.

I stayed away from them for months, every month during the 2ww after every ovulation. The problem being a nice bath was my stress relief, took that away and I ended up stuck to the ceiling.

I asked about it recently and was told just not to make it too warm.

Ever since I've been taking a few a week. It's bliss!

I used to take my baths soooo warm it was probably not right so changing to one that was a normal temperature felt strange at first.

Do what's right for you though. If you think it will stress you out more then steer clear. xx

My clinic were crazy conservative. No hot baths during 2ww (I daren't have one since getting the bfp!). They also said no swimming for the first 12 weeks which I've not heard anything about from anyone else.
