2ww - bath!?

Hi everyone! I have a quick question. I am in the (very long) 2 week wait following 5day transfer (on day 7) and am dying to have a nice long bath! 💭🛀🏼I've read various things about avoiding baths during 2WW but nothing definitive. What do you ladies think!? Thanks xx 🍀

I was told not to and to not go swimming. I don't know if it's a definite rule as some clinics probably vary with their advice. Good luck with the long 2 weeks. x

The nurse who was at my ET said not to and avoid heat. I'm not a bath person usually , but am on day 3 of 2ww and I've never wanted a hot bath more!

There's so much conflicting advice out there isn't there?! My clinic said you have have sex on the wait, a website said absolutely not and one other said its fine as long as the woman doesn't orgasm!! I bet a man wrote that! sorry if tmi but you have to find a giggle somewhere!

😂😂 that's made me giggle!! We were told no sex at all! It's all very confusing. Had a headache all day that won't shift, I'm sure a nice bubbly bath would help 😫

I love a nice warm bath and was desperate for one on the 2ww too! I held off though as I had heard the same things about not using heat etc. I expect it would be fine as long as its not too warm but I didn't want to risk it!

My clinic said there was no evidence that anything would hinder the embryo implanting so I wasn't given any advice on not doing anything specifically but you can't help reading all these tales (including the ones about sex and organisms!)

I opted for a sit down shower instead, hubby had a right good laugh when he came in and saw! The things we do!!

Thank you, getting on ok overall. Been a bit crampy since ET and today I've been plagued by a headache all day and I can't stop eating! X

That made me giggle! Good compromise though! I had cramps during the 2ww so think that's normal and I binged on chocolate. I think it was the stress! x

I was told no baths, apparently the heat increases your core temperature and puts stress on your body (although you wouldn't think it as having a bath is very relaxing). I did read stuff about not having sex but to be honest while I've been going through treatment that's been the last thing on my mind I'm too tired & far too bloated. Feeling like a big puffa fish at the moment lol and prob got another week of stims to go 😩 x x
