Grow follies grow.

So today I went for my 1st stimming scan. I'm on day 7 of injections.

Nurse found 16 follicles on my left ovary and a few on my right.

The ones on my left were measuring around 10 mm with only 1 being 14mm. The ones on the right were described as little ones and she didn't give me the measurements. I have to go back on Saturday to see how they are progressing and they may up the dosage of my merinol currently on 150ml.

Is there anything else I can do to make them grow.

Hey,

I was told by my nurse that there's not an awful lot you can do to help them grow. Just remain on a good healthy diet, lots of water and minimal exercise. She did also say under no circumstances use a hot water bottle!

I've just gone through 22 days of stims and they increased me to 300 units of Menopur and got my EC tomorrow so please don't get disheartened, I'm sure they'll come along nicely.

Hey I got told to eat plenty of protein, drink lots of water and hot baths....which isnt really what you want to be doing in weather like this! Good luck, plenty of time for some smaller ones to catch up!!xx

I did the hot water bottle (probably helped more with discomfort) and drank lots of full fat milk

I just went with what they said about continuing on my drugs for a bit longer in my last cycle. This cycle, they stopped me one day early. My advice is just put your faith in them and let them manipulate the drugs to suit you. x

Hi Mrsgled1982. Be patient and you will get there. maybe may need to up your dose a bit, but try not to worry, as some can be slow growers, then suddenly catch up. Good luck with your scan tomorrow. Thinking of you. Diane
