I'm just wondering does anyone have any advice on chiropractors. My chiropractor has advised leaving an fet for about 3 months, as she feels that working on me for 3 months will leave me in better shape for the fet. In my head I was all psyched up for the fet but now I don't know whether to listen to the chiropractor or push on. Any advice?

Hi Patsy79. I suppose it depends upon what you need a chiropractor for. If your health is suffering, then you need to get fixed if you can, otherwise see what your consultant says. Rest assured your little "frosties" will be quite safe waiting for transfer, so that's a bonus. Just wanted to wish you well with whatever you decide, and for a successful transfer when done with a positive out come. Diane
I had a Chiro for my back and it got a little bit like he was seeing me very often and felt a bit like this treatment was not ever going to be a cure just maintainence and actually a little over reliance on that release you get - I learnt to use yoga Pilates and foam rollers as a more long term solution.
I don't honestly think a Chiro will ever tell you you don't need them anymore... so personally I felt I was being ripped off a little in the end
Depending on what your priorities are it's up to you but personally I wouldn't take a Chiropractors advice on IVF/FET and I wouldn't prioritise this over my fertility treatments.
It's entirely up to you though x
So I'm just saying really just be aware the Chiro relies on your business to stay in business themselves... do what's right for you not them xx
I had a very bad back midway through out first icsi. Seeing consultant again in a few weeks, so will get his opinion on it as well. Thanks xx
