Help failed ivf😩

Hey ladies so today was my test date and We didn't get the news we were hoping for. I do not know what to do next So I was wondering how long do we have to wait to start another round of ivf? Any advice would be much appreciated x

So sorry to hear this. Such a sad time. In answer to your question....I was told 2-3months between cycles was advised but we ended up being much longer as i didn't have a natural AF until I was given medication. Do you have a follow up booked with your clinic? I'm sure they will help with a plan. Just make sure you give yourself time to grieve and process this cycle. It's so hard this journey, you need to be strong x

Thanks for replying I am waiting for a follow up appointment. I have stage 4 endo so I knew there was a chance it wasn't going to Wk I am thinking to go back on the pill till my next cycle as it helps with my period pains

Oh love, I am so sorry. Next do whatever *you* need to do for a while (as long as it's legal!).

My husband and I did 2 cycles of ICSI back to back, but maybe the best thing to do would be to speak to your specialist; speaking as the patient, it wasn't easy at all - I was pretty shattered by the end of it. Still am, really.

Be kind to yourself, whatever you do - this is a hard process.

Thanks Hun I'm defo gonna try take it easy for a bit I just don't know if I should go bk on the pill for the endo to stop growing till I speak to my specialist. But it's good you did not give up x

I'm so sorry for your result. I think the wait depends on your clinic. Ours is 8 weeks for a follow up appointment but we're looking to go private now which will hopefully speed things up.

Take the time you need to grieve and look after yourself. Xx

We had a failed treatment last month and we're currently recharging in Italy. It's helped so much. If finances allow if definitely recommend a break. Xx

Really sorry to hear this sandy112. I think they usually recommend 2 cycles but my acupuncturist said 3 was better. Your clinic will advise you more when you have your follow up. Take care of yourself xx

Thank you 7AVA it's annoying because my clinic didn't really say much just wait for a letter for a follow up. How long do they even take?

Our hospital said the same. This is a really hard day for you. Try to be kind to yourself, could you plan something nice for you and your partner to do this weekend? The follow up appointment will come. Sending you lots of courage at this hard time. X

So sorry for your bfn. It's such a hard day after all of the treatment. We got our bfn on 9th March and I'm currently down regging for cycle 2. My appointment is now on Monday for my first scan as af was late for all cycles in between. All the best for your next steps whatever you choose to do. x

Hiya, my clinic says only 1 natural af between cycles is ok but I think that's only if you're going to have a frozen cycle next. I got a bfn from our 1st icsi at the end of March. Now halfway through a frozen cycle...next egg transfer is 22/6 😁...every clinic is different and every person too so do what's right for you! Personally if I was having another fresh cycle I'd have waited another couple of months but frozens are pretty easy in comparison!
