Bleeding at 8 days, really bad pain, up hospital awaiting blood results

I started bleeding yesterday pinky, last night I couldn't sleep with the pains and cramp, woke up this morning bleeding more n was turning red, not it seems like a full on period where its really red and the pain is so bad. I went up the hospital and have had my blood done, I'm now waiting the results.
