Hi all, I’m 8 days post 5 day transfer and I’ve been bleeding. It’s nowhere near as heavy as my period usually would be, but I still wouldn’t call it light as such. There’s also no cramping and I normally have terrible cramps the first two days, but then could all the medication have an effect? I’m obviously still taking progesterone. I’m not due to test until Wednesday. Any positive stories from others who have experienced the same? This will be our fourth failure of it hasn’t worked

Bleeding 8 days after 5DT
Sorry you are experiencing this it's so frustrating not knowing what's going on. My only advice would be to keep up with your meds if your taking any. As lots of women bleed at different stages and each outcome is different. Good luck x
If it is a pink/light red colour, it could be implantation bleeding. I had this around the same time as you and was convinced it hadn't worked. I now have beautiful twins from that transfer. Try not to worry.Progesterone medication normally would prevent you from getting a period. However, it might be worth contacting your clinic. They might up your progesterone. X
It can go either way to be honest but my story is a positive one. I stared to have red light spotting only 5 days after transfer. It was so early and I was so disappointed to see that but because I am an early tester I tested next day in the morning and it was positive at 6dp5dt. We are now 21 weeks pregnant with twins 🥰. Don't lose your hopes just yet. Make sure that you have enough progesterone levels as this can trigger the bleeding, at least this was my case. Fingers crossed 🍀☺️
So little update… the bleedings got a bit heavier and more period like so instead of waiting until Wednesday I took a test today at lunch time and it was positive! Finally managed to get hold of the clinic and they’ve upped my progesterone and I’ve got to go down on wed morning for a blood test and I’m on bed rest until they tell me otherwise. I still don’t know what’s going on, but a positive test with blood is better than a negative test with blood, so I’m trying to stay hopeful for the time being. Bed rest is going to be fun with a 3 year old!
Good luck hun, I hope someone can come and help you with your toddler so you can properly rest up 😊 failing that maybe have some tv on until daddy is home! I've got a 2 year old and am 8 weeks pregnant and it's not easy! Hopefully the bleeding will ease soon 🤞🏻Xx
Wow congratulations I hope the bleeding stop
Another update…
Unfortunately it’s not good news. It looks as though it was a chemical pregnancy. Absolutely gutted but onwards and upwards.
So very sorry, thinking of you xx
I'm so very sorry how devastating had a 4 losses it's very upsetting 🥲 but because this time didn't work out doesn't mean another pregnancy would not Xx
