My partner and me have been trying to conceive for about 8 months. I have never been on contraception and have never had spotting before let alone had weird brownish bleeding before. It started 2 days after ovulation. I dont feel I'll or have any cramping.
Im not taking any fertility drugs. Neg result on preg test.
Does anyone know what this is?

Hi Ronson118. It might be due to a luteal phase deficiency which is not allowing your womb lining to build up correctly and causing the spotting. The luteal phase is the time from ovulation until your period starts. Maybe see your GP to check hormones with a blood test? Hope it soon gets sorted out for you. Diane

Have you ever been checked for endometriosis? Do you mind me asking how old you are? It is pretty common to spot and have brown 'old blood' before a period. It's can be due to the previous period where the lining of the womb didn't shed and come out fully. It's not a major issue, but you should still get it checked. Do you suffer with painful, heavy periods?
Sometimes heavy. I have just turned 29, I have never had this before, my last period was light to start and abit watery then went normal. I haven't experienced anything like this before. I have no other symptoms I feel fine no cramps or twinges no pains. It's bizarre.
I had exactly the same thing. Went to GP and had smear but all clear. Was referred to hospital and given an internal scan. In my case they found severe endo but I had also suffered a lot of symptoms along the way that you dont seem to have so I am not trying to suggest this is what you have! Just wanted to reassure you that you can go to the GP and they will look in to it quickly. Good luck with it. Xx

Hi Ronson118,I had this too,almost every month it felt like at one point.my periods have always been irregular but I d never had shows in between them and was really worried.i have pcos and was told it was a hormone imbalance.i m on metformin now and I haven t had any shows since.x
Thank you that's made me feel slightly better, my sister pcos but I have never experienced any symptoms of it
