Hidden infections test - positive

Well thought I'd ask if any of you lovely ladies have done this? I sent off a sample (of af blood ewww!) And got tested for hidden infections and it came up positive for hidden C and bacterial load infection?! So I now have to take a load of antibiotics. They say these could be causing implantation problems.

Must be a relief that u might finally have an answer!!! I'm surprised we arent all tested for this if we have had problems. What tests were they & who decided they needed doing if u don't mind me asking? X

Am having hysteroscopy at this clinic and they offer this test. Not well known in UK but looks promising as a possible issue with lots of ladies x

Have never heard of this either and hopinh that now you have had your antibiotics things may develop for you. Best of luck xx

My doctor thinks it's great. She had one patient have success with ivf following this and one that got pregnant before she even started her cycle. Seems to be standard procedure for a lot of abroad clinics. Hope you have same success. X

Hey I have just put a post up today asking about hidden c test... To see if anyone had it done. So how did they treat you? And how long do you have to take the antibiotics for? Sorry for all the questions... It's just I'm about to order a kit so hoping its worth it...

Hi there, they treat you with a months supply of antibiotics for you and your partner. They send a perscription by email. It worked for us! We got pregnant after this test and a hysteroscopy with implantation cuts at the same clinic. (We flew out the month before our ivf fir hysteroscopy) did hidden infections test before by sending AF in post. My GP is great and gave us the antibiotics we needed on the nhs. X

Aww excellent how are you now ? I have been tested with hidden C test I have an infection and now just need to get the antibiotics hopefully, however they are closed for summer holidays till end of august so I have a month to sort myself out lol. Thanks for your reply guys x
