Scratch today

I'm having my first scratch done today. I'm on my 4 round of ivf and am now trying a scratch. What is it like and how much does it hurt?

I have had two done one was completely fine and one hurt but only for a minute whilst she did it and then it was ok it's similar to a smear. Take some painkillers two hours before. Good Luck 🍀🍀

I had one that was quite uncomfortable but I didn't know what to expect. The last time was done by 2 lovely ladies who kept chatting and it didn't hurt as much. The last time they said I had a nicely full bladder which helped. The scratch only lasts a very short time and the pain is like a severe cramp.. sort of... It's completely fine in the end though. Hi Jenkins89. By now it will all be over with, but I hope all went well and it wasn't too uncomfortable. You will most probably will have been prescribed a course of antibiotics to take afterwards, to ensure you don’t get any infection. It is quite safe to take some paracetamol, should you feel any discomfort afterwards. I’m sure you will be fine, and I do hope it helps with your next cycle. Diane

All over. It was really easy. Slight pain but nothing to bad. Slight bleeding after it. I didn't get any anti biotics? And first injection done. X
